Hi there! My name is Elizabeth King and the baker/ decorator behind Sweet Elizabeth’s, a home baking business. My love for baking started back in middle school when I began taking Wilton cake decorating classes and now has progressed into a home baking business. I started selling a few baked goods at the local market in April of 2015 (my freshman year of college) as a way to earn money to pay for school and have a creative outlet to release me from the stress and pressures of school. I am extremely appreciative of all the support and for the successes I have had. I never imagined this business would transform into what it is now. It started out as a way to relieve stress, bring me joy on the side, and pay for school. Now it’s my full time business. I would have told you at some point that I wanted a storefront, but as I’ve grown and the business has grown I realize the real need for separation of life and work. And while I love what I do I don’t want it taking over my life. So for the moment, I’m working on building my vision of a beautiful life, one that allows me to be Sweet Elizabeth and just Elizabeth and to spend time with the people I love most. Good things are in the works and I can’t wait to share that with you when my vision finally comes to life!
